Thanks to the two-week ceasefire we are getting some much needed rest from the war.
Today, on Yom haShoah, we are commemorating the Holocaust and its victims. Last night, many survivors and their children told their stories in traditional small events around the country called "Zikaron beSalon" - "Commemoration in the Salon." This morning at 10:00 we stood still for a two minute siren.

Next week we will remember the terror victims and the fallen of Israel's wars, before celebrating Independence Day. Sadly, many events are cancelled for security reasons.
It will hardly be possible, though, to keep Israelis out of the parks and away from their barbeques. :)
We hope the ongoing ceasefire negotiations will result in good news.
In the middle of all these ups-and-downs and back-and-forths, we happily continue to serve and give to those in need who come to us for support.
