December Update

We are looking forward to the festival of Hanukka which is happening early this year. The smell of fresh "Sufganiyot" is already filling the streets.

On the other hand, a new report has just concluded that over 1.18 million children in Israel do not have enough to eat. About 41% of Jerusalem area families suffer poverty. Among the most vulnerable families are those of the reservists who are still fighting on Israel's various fronts. Many businesses have crashed and even dual-income families often cannot provide for basic needs.
