May Update

This May as has begun unusually cool with a little more rain and winds, while we still enjoy plenty of spring flowers.

We were recently able to host a lovely group of German volunteers who decided to stay in the country despite the war and continue to serve and work with the disabled in various institutions. It was a great joy to introduce them to our story and work - and to also spoil them a bit during their outing in Jerusalem for their love and bravery.

We have very much enjoyed the quiet of the last few weeks in regards to the war, while it currently looks like the next round of fighting is not far off, so we are bracing for more sirens and runs to the shelters.

We continue to receive increased requests for assistance in various forms as the economic situation in the country keeps being very challenging.
